Silver 'Vintage' Case

Hi everyone

I have a couple of queries regarding cases:

1 - Is it normal for the vintage silver case to have small holes at the front and side etc?

Mine has, they are very small. I have followed this up with the seller (small business, not private) and been told it is indeed normal albeit ...

Baked Maple Fretboard

Hi all

I have a Gibson Studio 60s Goldtop thing and it has a baked maple fretboard. I was just wondering if it is ok to use Stringfellow's lem oil on it, in yr opinions. There seems to be ambiguity regarding this on other forums so I thought I would ask here. I use the oil on my Rics and am very ...

Anecdotal non-Rickenbacker guitar throwing tale...

I saw the original Libertines at Kentish Town Forum, just before Doherty was kicked out for the 2nd time. He threw some Gibs*n semi into the crowd just for the sake/show of it. The reaction of the remainder of the band was just bewilderment and ...

Got me 360/12 MG!

And am very very very happy with it. Cost me a lot, £950, but is really nice. 1985 and in perfect condition. I don t know if any of you remember but I was searching pretty keenly for the last few months for one.

Decided on a janglebox instead to save money, but I got a bonus from work and sold a ...

I got into using a capo because of Johnny Marr. Loads and loads of his work in The Smiths is played at F#. He says in Rogan's 'The Severed Alliance' that this is because of Morrissey's voice! I use a Shubb BTW.

Ok valve it is, may have to wait until March tho... So expensive on my 'salary'. Probably go for tweed finish. BB King on transistors? I would never have known that. Dimebag had a signature amp if my memory serves me correctly. Never the bigest Pantera fan, but, RIP Darryl

hey guys,

yes the band is an odd one. the intention is to get signed but im the only one who can actually (well ostensibly) play. The girls are going to sing although Vanessa reckons she is going to learn to play drums...
