What, a new 4003 cost almost $2,000?
I have only been out of touch for a few years, but I cannot believe how much the 4003 has increased in price. I should have never sold my Monty Brown I bought for $850. Looks like those prices are long gone. Lurking about it's great to see some of the old members are still active on th...

Re: DCM Anniversary question
Hey Mike, do you still have that 4003 DCM?
Brian, why would you ever want to go to Philly?
It's good to see a lot of the old timers still on the forum.

Re: RIP Bo Diddley
He played here locally at a friends private cookout in the early 80's.
I had the pleasure of meeting him, and hearing some great music.
Bo was very cordial, down to earth, and a true music legend.

I was just wondering how many of the original owners still have their DCM bass.
Has there been much discussion on this topic, and how much has the latest sold for

I just ordered it.
Was this book just republished?
It was originally published in 2003, but this is the first I have heard of it.
Thanks for posting Rickboy88.

Re: Jazz Bass refinish, opinions?
John is correct.
I think I am going to swap out the gold p/g for something else.
Hopefully it will make it a little more macho looking.

Re: Selling my Jazz bass
I think the whole concept of the string through body design is to provide better sustain, and to me it would make sense that this would also increase the tension on the strings. Try posting this question over at the Fender forum. I'm sure you will get plenty of opinions there. http://www.fenderforum...

Re: Jazz Bass refinish, opinions?

I just bought a 50's P bass in that finish, and it looks almost like a bubblegum color, too salmon.
It looks good in pictures, but the real finish is not that great IMHO.
Great P bass however!

Re: One Fine Looking Jazz Bass
I was watching that 65 J bass Andrew.
The seller said "It has been refinished and unfortunately the job is not professional caliber".
From the pictures it looked like a nice Fiesta Red, and I thought it look fine.
The price was sure nice.

One Fine Looking Jazz Bass
 IMHO I think this is just one fine looking J bass in excellent shape, and for the BIN I can't believe it still there. Anyone else think the BIN price is a buy? If only had some spare money. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260200959071&ssPageName=STRK...

Selling some Cabs
I'm thinking of selling some bass cabinets.
Both are probably too heavy to ship, so local pickup would be prefered. Harrisburg, Pa. area.
1 2x10 Mesa Powerhouse excellent condition.
1 Epifani PS 115 cab like new condition.
Both are 8 ohms.
Shoot me an email if interested.
