Re: Does Anyone Remember Klaatu?
Yes, there were a bunch of rumors of it secretly being The Beatles. They sounded similar to Sgt. Pepper era. None of the band members' names were listed and it was on Capitol Records. I bought the first album when it came out, not because it sounded like The Beatles but because it was good. I now ...

John Deacon - Queen demos
This pic is apparently from the 1971 De Lane Lea Studio demo recording sessions. All 5 songs would eventually be re-recorded for the first Queen album. The demo versions are available as a bonus disc on the 2011 Queen I remastered disc. Since this pic is from those sessions, I think it's safe to ...

Paul,
Perhaps you could create an addendum to Vol. 2 with the updated models and features and sell it as a downloadable PDF.

Re: New basses
Let's remember when the 4002 was introduced, it didn't go over very well with Ric players. Now it's a highly desired instrument. I think these will just take some time to grow on people.

Re: OK Joey, spill the beans on the new 5er!
Here's Joey's post (typo corrected).
Will be at the NAMM Show. Yes the S/5 is back, but there is something different about it that I've known about for several months. Maybe I can share it soon.
And further down he says: This would be something RIC never installed on an instrument before.

Great interview Paul! I got the impression the interviewer was not a Rickenbacker fan.

Re: Great and well known songs containing Rickenbackers
I'm pretty sure My Generation is a Danelectro Longhorn bass.
Trick of the Light from Who Are You is the Ric 8 string though.
