hey guys, just made a video playing an acoustic version of an original song o'mine up in the hills with a beautiful view at "my" valley.
sorry, no rickenbacker in sight, but a nice eko custom ranger acoustic guitar.
it was a very nice saturday morning, and the viewplace is just about behind my house ...

is it true that the toaster 7.4 k pickups (i could get one from 2008) are universal, usable as neck, bridge, guitar and bass pickup?

i'd like to install toasters in my 330. now there are sellers on ebay that sell original ric toasters with "mounting rigs" whereas on the ric homepage shop they just sell the pickups. do i really need some mounting rigs for my 330 or would the pickup be all i need?

hell yeah! you can even play the blues with hi-gains and the neck pickup!

yeah, true. tried the tomastik strings and they are closer to normal strings. much more confortable to play.

sounds good but the mix could be better, voice dissapears sometimes and the cymbals/hi-hat is to loud. i know it's live ... just a thought ...

Details: This was a 1997 Mapleglo 1997 reissue that I have had for some time. I had Larry add all of the bindings including the f hole and a new fingerboard with CPIs. He also used a C series roller bridge and an Accent tailpiece ...

finally got the flatwounds, pyramid golds - man ... they def are stiffer! hah! i was surprised, didn't expect 'em to be this different from normal strings. bending is hard ... def changes your way of playing, so true. vintageß yeah, babey! hahaha!
haven't recorded yet but will try to in the weekend ...
