Carl Wilson 12 strings - the best you can get??
Just thought I'd get your thoughts on the CW 12 string. I picked mine up last night and was reminded just how great a guitar these are. Awesome sound and so light. I still think these are an under appreciated instrument - Rickenbacker's secret weapon.

Robert - I think Mike Parks has an unsold jetglo 360/12CW still in stock (although it's not pictured on his site, just mentioned in the collectibles section).
I've been meaning to ask this to the forumites for a while but keep forgetting....does anyone know the exact "breakdown" of the 500 CWs made, in terms of finish and number of strings? I've heard that there are 125 of each of the four combinations between jetglo/fireglo and 6/12 strings, but it seems to me that there is a greater proportion of fireglo 12's out there...which would make sense since that's what Carl played. And did he ever play a 6-string 360? (Or any jetglo rick, for that matter?)

Mr. Hall might care to comment, Chris. I know he knows the answers, but per his request I cannot be the one to share the break down with you. Maybe he will comment on it.

On the Rickenbacker websites, they list total brakdowns. I am sure that someday, when John Hall gets to it, he will put them up. Hopefully, he is too busy retooling the LightShow line of Rickenbackers right now to play on the internet, but most likely he is probably working on the C-series. Hum, what about a 331c69? Mr. Hall, I think we have something here
