If you happen to have the "Mighty wind" DVD....goto special features and then to TV appearences......there is a video (unused in the film) that is on there where the folksmen are using 2 ricks........from there album "Singing Something"

No. Yes. Well yes and no. While "The Folksmen" are a creation of Christopher Guest's fertile imagination, these guys actually DO play their own instruments. And quite well, too!
