Don't ever stand in front of Brian's rig, Jeff. That Mesa Boogie 2x10 will liquefy your brain! Image

Roland DB700 dressed up like Vox Foundation. Fools 'em every time. 250watts, 1-15 w/horn, modelling, programmable pre-amp w/two presets(one for Hofner, one for Ric).
Weighs a tone but I don't have to carry thank God. Had it about 3 years now, love it.

I currently use my Rick-O-Sound through a 400w Peavey Standard and 2X15 cab for the low end with a SansAmp preamp to a Fender Bassman 200 1X15 & horn for the highs. Sorta gets that Geddy tone and can get the Paul Goddard sound too. But mostly gets MY tone...Image

Behringer 3000 head with 2 single 15 cabinets, one is an older SWR workingmans and the other a no name I loaded with a Black Widow. Absolutely nails the '70's lows and hi clank I've been searching for.

I also have the Behringer 300 W head...not that thrilled with it, but the price point is good. Recently got a small Trace Elliot, and I am planning to use that as a pre-amp. I have a 2x10 Carvin cabinet.

Wow, lots of great rigs out there.
I have 2 different rigs - one large, one small:
1. Ashly SC-40 preamp into a 300 watt Tubeworks amp, and an old Sunn 215S cabinet.
2. Music Man HD-130 head into a Music Man 115RH cabinet.

Ashdown ABM 300 Evo Head coupled with an ABM 2x10. I also sometimes run a Peavey Nitrobass head coupled to a Trace Elliot 2x10 for gigs where I need more power. 90% of the time the small Ashdown rig suffices but when I use both, I rig the Ashdown pair for the bottom end and the Peavey + TE for the high end. Sounds great but more of a lug at gigs.

Currently I'm using a Trace Elliot 150W BLX-SMC Combo with one 10 and a tweeter. If I need to push more air I use it with my Mesa 4X10 cab. I also have the Mesa 400+ head to go with the cab.

Since getting my first 4001 in 1972, I've used an Ampeg B-15, Peavey "Bass" w/ 2X15, an Acoustic head with the B-15 cab, GK 800-RB with 2X12 and 1X18, and the Mesa 400+...

I got the Trace because my back can't handle lugging those big amps anymore!

Some nice looking rigs on this board!
