Return of the prodigal son!
Today I just got back my burgundy 350V63. I bought it a while ago, but for some stupid reason, I sold it to a collector & regretted it ever since. I've been dropping hints to the owner that I wanted it back & today he caved in & swapped it for a 370. I am over the moon! I think it once belonged to John Williams & it is in brand new condition (not that it'll stay that way very long).
I like the 7'4's in the neck & mid position, but the bridge needs a serious boost to really do the business, so a hi-gain will go in tomorrow. It's not very often you get some thing back that you regret selling....I'm not going to make the same mistake twice.
Mind you, ALL my other gtrs are FG...so it does stick out a bit...maybe I need a JG or some thing else to go with it!

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

The second photo is after my mods...the first is before.
John, I just don't know why I sold it in the first place. I REALLY wanted it back & am so happy now it's back with me. I have sold loads of Rics, but this one gnawed at me. It's back at a very good home & although I can't promise to keep it in the same condition as it is at the moment, this gtr has proved to be a keeper. It will be well used & well loved!
