360/12 C63 - My chances of getting one
Moderators: rickenbrother, ajish4
I don't know where Music 123 falls on the list but the 360C went into production and got delayed a few months back.
Good news is that they're back in the picture and several are in the pipe as I write this.
We have a lot of orders for those and a bunch will go out by the end of October. Moreover, we intend to hit'em hard in '06.

This is getting more and more frustrating...
I just read the shipping policies on pick of the ricks and a few other places and it seems no dealer would ship it outside North America.
There are no RIC dealers in Israel.
Basically it means that if I don't get it in Oct (which seems impossible) I will never have it

So long and thanks for all the fish!

And on top of that, you have the Israeli import duties.
...which sounds like a skiffle group...

Gary - thanks for the offer, it actually cheered me up.
The thing is - assuming I'll buy it in $2K - Ship it to Israel for $300, then I'll have to pay %30 (import tax + VAT) on top of this amount.
If they are nice - they will charge %30 on the actual cost + shipping (which means %30 on $2300 = 2990).
In case and the tax agent had a really bad morning he can charge those taxes on the retail price, so it means %30 on ($3200 + $300 shipping) which is $2300 (actual cost + shipping) + $1050 taxes = $3350.
In both cases - ouch...

Ben, I hope you aren't getting out hopes up young man. We know where you work! I'm looking forward to seeing mine as soon as possible. Until then, I guess I could order a custom shop closet classic Fender. They only take about 2 days to make. That includes lunchbreaks.

It was Ben's father, John Hall, who made that post. Seeing as this is September, and the new finish probably cures faster than the old, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.
