Cool to see an NOS bass from 88. Always makes you wonder what is still hiding out there. Reminds me of the thread awhile back on VT where JWilli (I think) posted the prices when John Hall let a lot of NOS from the 60's go around 89/90....Talk about special...

A bidding tip: Don't go with a huge bids early on---you could add hundreds to the final value by doing this. Some people who would have no intentions of spending a certain amount on something will often keep bidding to get over somebody's maximum, even after going over what they planned to bid---the excitement of the chase, so to speak. Sure, getting into the action early is always good, but lay low and behind the scenes. If your high bids aren't there, somebody else doesn't have to bid over you, raising the price. Towards the very end, give 'em hell.
