My husband told me a couple of years ago that I should have my old 330 refinished in a shocking bright pink with a great big cursive "M" on it (kind of like the big Laverne and Shirley "L"!).....
Up until that point I thought he had good taste in everything, LOL!

I just checked out Ed Roman's site and if I am reading his pricelist correctly, he charges a whopping $999 for a refinish in Green Glow.
As much as I like that finish (green is my favorite color), I think I will just leave my 360 with its original fireglo finish. I also like the fireglo, but I wanted the green because it would certainly set my guitar apart from almost all of the other Ricks out there, especially ones that are played onstage.
$999 could buy me another Rick, so I will pass on the refinish.

I have a 60's Rickenbacker RM1999, resprayed green way back in the 70's, before I acquired it. It's a killer refin, still glass like today and my poor quality digital certainly doesn't capture the depth of it.
The neck, where the finish is much lighter coupled with a figured birds eye neck looks spectacular.
While not everybody's cup of tea, the bass has never failed to leave an impact on all who see it.

Brian, I don't think he's charging that much for the refinish, I think he's selling the 330 for that much. It says:
"Custom Green Glow $999.00 Price Reduced" with a picture of a 330 in Greenglo. I'm thinking that he made a few this way, and nobody bought them, so he's now reducing the price.
Also, there is a REALLY nice looking Blueboy 360 on his page.

Andrew, that's a much nicer shade of green than Ed's sour apple color.
That having been said, the $999.00 330 Ed's got is a good price, for curiosity value.
