It also pays to watch your step when you're popping out the back to put some empties in the recycling bin......

I don't know where I was when this thread started, but when I saw the title "How to date guitar," the response that came to mind was, just give her all your lovin'! Image

....Especially if it's a Ric.

Thanks, Melissa. It's fine now. Seems to me I'm getting a bit 'doddery' - have to tread carefully these days!!

You may have to consider putting on your glasses before you take a trip to the dustbin next time Aitch.

Geez talking about light Dane I was wondering what happened to you. Did you go out on tour or something?

He was on a date with his guitar.

Research, apparently.

Yeah, I went on a tour of my sumptuous 'grounds'...had to winterize the house; all while entertaining the In-Laws, recovering from entertaining the In-Laws, and then having another visit from Bob, our Noise Artist friend...He did a show last night at 'Monkey Mania', our downtown funky warehouse scene: lots of shrieking and groaning compressed feedback off a piano soundboard, which he loaded into the venue on a handcart. They drove straight here from a gig in Salt Lake City: Bob, Raven, an Indigenous American noise guy from L.A. he's on tour with, and Bob's small mongrel dog Hazel. They hit the road this morning at 7 a.m...three shows in Albuquerque starting tonight, one in Las Vegas, and the last one back at Bob's warehouse/venue in L.A., 'Il Corral"...then they get to rest.

I crawled in my crawl space and replaced the furnace filter...it's Halloweeny down there! Speaking of which, I finally removed the dead cat from our attic. I spotted it not long after we bought the house five years ago. It's one of those things that's been on the list forever and just never seemed to make it to the top. It was quite petrified, and came out in one piece...Hooray!

So, what'd I miss around here?

Ah the domestic family and friends tour of duty. I understand. You did not miss a whole lot.

We left a number of threads hanging that you usually enjoy making comments on and waited but no contributions from the apprentice, so I was just curious what happened to you that's all. I suppose upon reflection, your sense of humour was somewhat missed.

Well, I guess that's one cat that won't pee in your guitar case anymore.
