Melissa,
Leave it in the sunlight outside for a day or so, and it might just work. I have heard UV rays will kill mold.

An excellent case in point, Aitch.

Beat Peter to it this time.

Out of left field, Melissa. I've got no idea.... then again, I get told that fairly regularly!!

Here's my careful try at an explanation...it's got something to do with Peter receiving a beating...and Howard, although you were referring quite innocently to Paul's 'case in point', your 'to coin a phrase' response was just unspecific enough in context to permit a reader to think you were referring to the aforementioned 'battery'...hence brother Wilder's concern for Ms. Breitsprecher's sensibilities.

I hope I've helped in some way...now I can add 'Danish Translator' to my resume...

LOL! It's okay, Dane! I didn't catch any of that, but even if I did, I'm okay--Good grief, I've got a husband and two rowdy boys and am pretty familiar by now with how guys like to kid with each other! Image

Often, even if I don't say anything online, I'm laughing at some of the antics that go on here! I feel like I know many of you well enough to consider you my friends, even though I have never met any of you personally! Don't worry about offending me; I really don't take offense to much! Image

Wait a minute--I just realized it was a different Dane here who gave the explanation.... Now I'm REALLY confused! Gotta love this place, LOL!

Thanks, Melissa...respectful informality is a fine art, and one practised regularly in this Forum...

I'm pretty sure that Howard's confusion owes to the fact that the name John Thomas wasn't mentioned at all...

Thanks for the explanation, Dane. I read it and still didn't understand. Then I went back to my original post and "bing!!" - it hit me!

Now I see where Dane (the other) is coming from. I feel a right dill - both for posting it and not understanding Dane's (this one) explanation in the first instance.
