Here's my careful try at an explanation...it's got something to do with Peter receiving a beating...and Howard, although you were referring quite innocently to Paul's 'case in point', your 'to coin a phrase' response was just unspecific enough in context to permit a reader to think you were referring to the aforementioned 'battery'...hence brother Wilder's concern for Ms. Breitsprecher's sensibilities.
I hope I've helped in some way...now I can add 'Danish Translator' to my resume...

LOL! It's okay, Dane! I didn't catch any of that, but even if I did, I'm okay--Good grief, I've got a husband and two rowdy boys and am pretty familiar by now with how guys like to kid with each other!
Often, even if I don't say anything online, I'm laughing at some of the antics that go on here! I feel like I know many of you well enough to consider you my friends, even though I have never met any of you personally! Don't worry about offending me; I really don't take offense to much!

Thanks for the explanation, Dane. I read it and still didn't understand. Then I went back to my original post and "bing!!" - it hit me!
Now I see where Dane (the other) is coming from. I feel a right dill - both for posting it and not understanding Dane's (this one) explanation in the first instance.
