No rumor, it showed just that on the RIC website...one example was shipped to Levin's.

FYI, the site doesn't show quantities- could be one or a hundred. Multiple listings for the same item means multiple shipments of unspecified quantities.

Gentlemen, thanks for the quick response! Cheers,

RSG

p.s. - John Hall - Does your VT posting re Customer Service position mean Jay Crowley is leaving? Maybe Black Flag convinced him to join the band for a tour? Thanks again.

p.p.s - Really dig the new website BTW!

OK, Figured out the shipment info. What an excellent way to get guitar hounds to stop pestering the company. Great idea there. Cheers, RSG

Chris, as was posted elsewhere, he decided to go back to New England where he's originally from. We get the sense he's already regretting the move back there and snow isn't going to improve that feeling, I bet!

Jay was a great chap to deal with. Do you get the 'sense' that he might be coming back then John?
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

He already said he's coming back in January "to visit" but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he stays. The problem is, we won't likely have a similar position open by then.

Jay was helpful to me when diagnosing a miss-built pickup.

I always appreciated Jay's help on production info and and his willingness to provide help on obscure questions like verifying serial numbers on vintage Rics. You don't find that in every company. This also means there is one less really good musician in Southern California. Hope it all works out for him. Cheers, RSG
