"On Stage"
I hope it will get higher anyway, Roy... - and my previous comment was from somebody who has often been unpaid for the job done...
(albeit it's not very funny)
Still, a question remains: were there any live recordings from the 70s? a friend of mine said there was one, but he's always been a big joker, so i'm not sure if i can trust his words... (yes i KNOW i'm a bit of a bore)

Best wishes with the new job Roy!!
The official web site still sounds the best place to sell them in my opinion.
They would not necessary need a secure site to sell CDs via there own web site. I have seen sites that accept Paypal or payment could be sent via cheque or postal order or even cash.
Any how main point is that it is a shame that sales are restricted to live concerts only.
There must be many fans world wide (like Sheena) that never get the opportunity to see them live, that would love to get hold of a copy.

Roy congratulations on the new job. Even if it's not exactly what you wanted.
On a positive note, it's always easier to get a job when you already have one. So keep your eyes and ears open and I am sure that a more suitable one will pop up.
Here's wishing you all the best.

Rob: i solemnly promise that as soon as my Man becomes a millionaire, the first thing i'll do would be getting a passport and a visa and coming to Liverpool to see the Searchers play in their home town! Judging by what i've heard about their live shows, it's pure fun and indeed worth any kind of money!

Eh, Roy, that was a momentary emotion, hope the divorce wouldn't happen anyway, sorry to have mentioned it.
(yes, sometimes i do forget it's a public forum and i'm not writing an email to a friend, forgive my silly head)
As far as Liverpool is concerned, yes right you are but i've read in an interview with John McNally that the other guys, while not being Scousers actually, consider themselves to be a Liverpool band and have the same thrill while playing in this city, so i take it they are a Liverpool band anyway. And i'd also like to see the city where (presumably) the pop music was born, still i'd like to hope the band probably comes to Moscow BEFORE i become a millionnaire's spouse.

That's only a caricature, Timothy! (instead of
for a smiley)
BTW, i wonder if the Searchers have ever played in any ex-Socialistic country, like Bulgaria, or Hungary, or Czech for instance, or do they play there now? I've read they had some gigs in former Yugoslavia a while ago, so do they keep visiting this part of the world or not?

No i cannot remain silent and will add to Edward's comment. Roy, your always friendly and careful attitude to people (even if they don't 'pay you with the same nickel' as we say) and a talent to give without waiting for a reward is something i'll never stop to admire. Now i shut up.
PS: BTW, the question about ex-Socialistic countries still remains.
