Yeah, except the necks look crooked.

They usually angle slightly away from each other, and (I didn't realize 'til mine arrived) the guitar neck angles BACK a couple of degrees to provide more clearance for your hand while playing. Still pretty tight quarters (wearing of watches NOT recommended!).

I meant the pic above. Rutherford's. that one.. the necks look like they're tilting into each other.

I think it's just the angle of the pic. Maybe not, since he made it himself.
I always thought his looked odd.

I found that black Ricky double-monstrosity once too. The rear edge of the guitar is hideous. The lower controls and pickguard just plain look overdone and wrong. Having done this myself and can honestly say there are more asthetic ways of joining two Rickys. Rutherford's necks actually start out further apart to provive for a larger body and room for two discreet sets of controls and then angle towards each other. at 6'4" he can get away with something like that and still reach all of the controls. I went for a more compact approach.
