A different bass/12 doubleneck

I found that black Ricky double-monstrosity once too. The rear edge of the guitar is hideous. The lower controls and pickguard just plain look overdone and wrong. Having done this myself and can honestly say there are more asthetic ways of joining two Rickys. Rutherford's necks actually start out further apart to provive for a larger body and room for two discreet sets of controls and then angle towards each other. at 6'4" he can get away with something like that and still reach all of the controls. I went for a more compact approach.
