John,

I got a new 4003 blue boy a few weeks ago and it definately has a mint-green tint to it.

I've been sweating the green Blue Boy thing ever since I found out RIC changed their varnish to one that is yellow right out of the can. I wonder if that's the reason.

I have a 4003 BB on order and I wasn't looking forward to it turning green in a few years, much less arriving that way.

I look forward to seeing your pics, John.

The verdict is "more green than blue". Most of the BB pics I've seen have been a much nicer shade of blue and this one definitely has a green tinge to it.

I'm kinda bummed.

I like mint/pastel green, but I really wanted a _blue_ bass.

Pics can be found at:

I'm gonna have to think about what I want to do with this bass.

Hmm. I was thinking it maybe like that silverish green 8 string posted up earlier. But After seeing Pics of Johns I realize its not haha. But It still a pretty color.

Love it!
I prefer that shade to the original personally.

Hey... its almost Xmas too Jeffrey. Be kind of interesting for a Xmas show.

Oh... Guess what guys. I talked my physics teacher into letting me play a bunch of Xmas songs the last day before the break. That should be a fun day. I know if I take it into my art class hell let me play. All we do is listn to music in that class and paint anyways. Image
