True, true.
Actually, in regards to the pickup switch, I think it's THE most useful thing ever. I absolutely hate having to mess with the volume knobs to turn a pickup "on" or "off". The volume knobs for me are a way to change the tone a bit by quieting either the neck or the bridge pickup. If I had to turn one all the way down and the other all the way up every time I wanted to switch pickups, not only would it take way too long, but I would go crazy. I think the ability to switch instantly to a completely different sound just by hitting the toggle is absolutely invaluable. I don't think I'll ever buy a two-pickup bass without a toggle switch ever again. And if I do, I'll have one custom installed. I find that most modern basses would benefit greatly from one.

I like how it is on my dean. Cause I can pick either all the way on the back pickup, the front pickup, or anywhere between. I dont change it in the middle of a song tho. I just change where im playing at if I want to change the sound. Thats just me tho. I understand the switch. But I feel it limits me more then helps me.

) my pyr is an eight year old female named Emma. Are you familiar with Great Pyrenees?
