My parents always make fun of me because I make funny faces when i play. I think its just part of it. Its funny how things that normally look stupid dont look so stupid when you have a bass in your hands.

True, true.

Actually, in regards to the pickup switch, I think it's THE most useful thing ever. I absolutely hate having to mess with the volume knobs to turn a pickup "on" or "off". The volume knobs for me are a way to change the tone a bit by quieting either the neck or the bridge pickup. If I had to turn one all the way down and the other all the way up every time I wanted to switch pickups, not only would it take way too long, but I would go crazy. I think the ability to switch instantly to a completely different sound just by hitting the toggle is absolutely invaluable. I don't think I'll ever buy a two-pickup bass without a toggle switch ever again. And if I do, I'll have one custom installed. I find that most modern basses would benefit greatly from one.

I like how it is on my dean. Cause I can pick either all the way on the back pickup, the front pickup, or anywhere between. I dont change it in the middle of a song tho. I just change where im playing at if I want to change the sound. Thats just me tho. I understand the switch. But I feel it limits me more then helps me.

My girlfriend's sister has a male that is almost 10. Navarre is not in great health as he is getting rather old for a Pyr, I think. He is also pretty big at about 140 lbs.

Emma is a great looking Pyr, she looks really happy! Image

Here's me with my 4003 JG Friday night. Photo courtesy of Dean Mentjes. Lindsay Hahn was also in attendance as well. Good times were had by all despite the playing conditions.
