Beatles covering songs by others..
"She's A Mod"... HAAA! never heard that one before, but its a fun little song by the New Zealand band and it would have been great to hear a Beatles cover. If the song had come out a few years earlier perhaps the Fabs would have done it, but "She's A Mod" came out in '64 and the Beatles were already on to bigger and better things (to say the least).
Jimmy Hill, Dave Russell, Billy Kristian, Wally Scott and Ray Columbus.
To me, they look and sound more like Gerry and the Pacemakers than the Beatles.

ha.... reminds me of the time someone caught me with a funny look as I was drinking milk. The result was 2 parallel white jets.... oooo I hate when that happens.
Some things are just too horrible to contemplate:

I knew a young guy (many years ago) who played bass for a while in a touring show band...they got booked to play some casino in Vegas for a week, and one night they went up to their hotel suite to party after the show with some 'hangers-on'...one of whom was Mr. Sedaka himself. Apparently, 'Ol' Neil' spent the entire evening chasing this poor kid around the place...
Just the thought of Sedaka singing "Nobody will be watching us..." gives me the creeps.

I didn't get where I am today by being on time...
