My wife is coming home with our new digital camera Andrew, I'll take some shots and post them, I'm long overdue anyway, got to take a picture of the whole arsenal, wish my BB fretless would get here soon.
What year is yours Gerry, a 72 also? It looks a lot like mine except mine is jetglo has a flat surround and no thumbrest and never had one, it's an LL. Andy that's a nice looking fireglo as is yours Gerry.

Bob, Sept 72 also a 21 position neck. The surround has been changed for a dugout and it has a Pickguardian made to order finger rest to fit where the original went.
AFAIK only 2 other possible 21 FL's have turned up, Chris Brubecks and another 70 that had been fretted and was discussed here(Sergio kept pics I think). Both have bound headstocks.

Mine's got a 20 position neck, never even thought of that. Where did you get that?

Bob, it came from Houston. I got it August last year with the help of Mr A Winter. It had been listed on ebay and was discussed here. No one, least of all me, realised it was a 21 until it landed here. Quite a suprise because most were made in 1970. Perhaps the fretboard was made in a batch from then?

I'm still scratching my head on those 21 frets Gerry...

Very cool and a nice surprise too...

Next time a mid 72 FL comes up I am there!
