Need a Small Amp for my 330 12
While I await the arrival of my 330 12, I'm looking at amp options. I have a Jangle Box on its way, and I already use a D-TAR Solstice blender/preamp on my acoustics, so one choice is to go with no amp at all. The Church at which I play has a wonderful Aviom monitor system where each musician has his own monitor mix thru either a floor wedge or in-ears.
But I'm still leaning toward an amp.
I'm looking at SMALL and INEXPENSIVE if I decide to go with a stage monitor. Maybe Vox Pathfinder, VR-15, Brian May, possibly Fender Frontman 25, Roland Cube 30, etc.
Any pearls of wisdom with respect to small amps in conjunction with a Jangle Box?

I've used my Roland Cube 30 with my Jangle box, Jere and it's a good combination. I find the Cube 30 a good little amp and very portable. The inbuilt effects are reasonably good also.
I'm sure others will have lots of recommendations but that's my 2 cents worth.

One of the smaller Roland JC models will suit your needs. The Vox Brian May is a one-trick pony which will NOT do your 12-string justice.
In the last two years, I've been using small amplifiers exclusively -you can dial in your tone and save your hearing! If you want to spend the shekels, a Traynor YCV20 is a great inexpensive Class A valve amp which is voiced Ric-friendly.
Best of luck,
Noel

How about a Little Lanilei 3350LT(high Gain) or Super 50(more clean headroom).Great little tube practice amps which can also be used to drive 2 4x12 cabs:

David, glad your Tech 21 provides the sound you desire. I just found my Tech 21 30 watt limited, at least to me. In addition the electronics and controls began failing after a couple of years, and I got it new. I've never had this problem with any other amp I've ever owned. Could be I just got a lemon, but once bitten...
