Do you know if Rick still owns Backdoor? He's an old friend of mine. Is your CD here in Portland?(Music Millenium)

Good Luck!

Greg - I'll keep you posted for sure.

Brian - Rick sold Backdoor awhile back. Some much larger company bought the store, which is a shame. Rick did very well on it though which is good for him. Good news is they have done a pretty good job of keeping the same vibe.

I don't think the CD is at Music Millenium. I know it is available through the website and CD baby. We're going to be playing up that way in the beginning of May. Maybe we should check in with them then? Is it a good store?

It's a 14th C. medieval pub right next to the old Cathedral, it's quite cool. The PA is pretty basic but we've always had a good sound in there. Crowds can vary a bit depending what night you play (i.e. Saturdays are always better for passing trade) Cox's yard used to be a great venue, nice layout, stage etc but I haven't been in over a yer.
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?

Tim

Music Millenium is an independent music store that has two good sized locations. Very supportive and often have live performances at their 23rd ave site.

Thanks for the update on Rick.

If you play any Portland clubs let me know.

I'll keep you posted, Brian.

Ronan, you helped to wet my appetite for playing there. We simply do not have the opportunity to play in 14th century pubs over here!

THe Axe & Cleaver, Boston, Lincs. is a good venue. The name alone makes it worth playing.

Yeah...another thing. If there are any dates you want to fill and any cities you'd like to gig in let me know and I will try and pass any suggested venues or contact details on so you can send a press pack!

I was actually bitten by an over enthusiastic audience member there once, while I was playing - they didn't break skin, so I suppose I got off lightly. And another time we got there to find a Scene of Crime info request for a stabbing outsidethe night before. Pretty quiet for a fenland venue, really....

Been a busy few days - first time I've had a chance to post in a bit.

Thanks for the offers of help and contact ideas. Great tips. Ronan, I really appreciate your willingness to help and will keep in touch. I may have a cab lined up, but if not I would certainly appreciate any leads you have. The Trace combo sounds like it would also work well, but if possible I'd like to use my own Walter Woods head as I know it well.

In preparation for the tour, the band has started a space at Wild Plum - http://www.wildplum.co.uk/music_index.php?user_id=3504&user_name=Eugene. It seems to be a UK equivalent of My Space? It may help secure further bookings if there is some more action there so if anyone has the time I'd certainly appreciate a visit. If you like what you hear of the band there and at our website please register as a friend and/or sign up for our mailing list.

Thanks again for all the support!
