It is possible. The solid-color refinish makes it so. This can be done on any 330 or 360. If we're talking refinish, the price is pretty reasonable, too.
It cannot be done on a transparent finish like MG, FG, MB, BG, or BBR, at least not invisibly.

Well... after a few warranty issues I finally got her in the mail today. And she is stunning. Both Paul and RIC did a masterful job. I can't thank you enough Paul!
Thank you too Kenny! I appreciate you handling the warranty issues so smoothly. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to work with you.

I have two more of these in the bullpen waiting for soundhole additions. The next one will be the standard "slash" or "scimitar" hole, but on a 325, and then there will be another 350 "F" hole happening, on a beautiful MG V63.

Make sure you post pictures. I've been thinking of a 350V63MG and installing the Bigsby and other Lennon touches. What do you think Paul?

I think that the slash soundhole in the above BB looks a good deal too large for the body size of the guitar, whereas the "F" holes on these are scaled just right. There's also a tradition of slash holes in larger, fully-hollow-bodied guitars (ref. Gretsch and a good number of European brands which predate these Ricks) which didn't exist in the littler, semi-hollow guys.
This is just a guess, though, but it does seem like Rickenbacker was still feeling their way in the late '50s with regard to slash sound holes. Look also at some of the '58s with the really long sound holes, before a final proportion was settled on later in the year.

I think the scaled F hole on the 350V63 FG looks right. It completes the feel of the guitar and adds visual balance. Kinda plain without it. MHO.
Even the slash on the BB is better, tho as stated it is a tad too big. Scaled it would add that balance to the whole face of the guitar. Again MHO. Oh, and Paul, really nice, exact work!

I's say "exact is my middle name", but that would be pompous.
Besides, Alan is my middle name.
Thanks, John.
