Ticket to ride
I missed what Christian said that got him booted. You had to know it was coming!

Allow me to paraphrase:
You guys and gals are all a buncha w$%*#%&^$#$^!#$%^$#^
who wouldn't know a Beatles guitar if t bit you in the $%#!$%.
Of course I know the title of the film was Help.
Now that I've insulted the lot of you, help me find out the story of the guitar, OK?
No please, no thank you.
Bye, Bye bootie.

I can be a pretty 'passionate' forum poster myself sometimes, and occasionally I later regret posting whatever my 'take' was. I find it helps to wait a few hours to respond. As of late I'm wondering if i have a slight chemical thing going that triggers short-tempered responses.
I think it'd be a good thing for anybody who's upset to consider that maybe this person is having a bad day. It happens to all of us.

Although I agree with Sheena, that it isn't nice to talk about people who can no longer respond, Mr. Bryan's final posting was inexcusable. He insulted everyone in this forum (in more ways than one) and then proceeded to demand once again that we provide answers to his questions about 'Ticket To Ride' instrumentation. If this how he is doing research for a book that supposedly blows away all previous publications, one can only laugh. Although he seems unwilling to admit it, Beatle enthusiasts have all benefited from prior publications. Few publications are 100% accurate and Mr. Babiuk deserves enormous credit for creating his book and getting out in the marketplace. Anyone who wants to do their own research and provide a more accurate accounting of the Beatles' gear should be encouraged, but Mr. Bryan had a strange way of looking for help. He was beyond rude.
I'm so glad that I missed out on the not so nice stuff that was said.
Strange, but before all of this, I got the impression that Christian was fairly level headed... I guess not!

So had I Brian. If I remember correctly, I believe I enjoyed some of his posts.

Crikey!! How did I miss this one?
Very difficult to understand Christian's attitude - unless we members were his last hope of finding the facts (which does not justify his actions, of course). And as I see it, the facts come directly from George's quote - no better source, IMO.
