I am sorry to hear that Freddy passed away.
Like others here I enjoyed his zany antics and the music of Freddie and the Dreamers when it was first released.

It was sad for me to hear that Freddie had passed away. Hearing Freddie sing "I'm Telling You Now" was always one of those songs that I would find myself singing along with whenever I heard it being played.
This morning I was watching a video titled, "The British Invasion - First Wave", and there is a cool performance of Freddie and the Dreamers singing I'm Telling You Now. They were all doing their fancy dance steps and looked pretty sharp in their suits. Naturally, all the little chicks in the audience were screaming, while the older folks looked on and smiled. (After all, Freddie and the boys were fun, playful and wholesome.) I like 'em!!

I've watched this several times and it continues to crack me up. Freddie & the Dreamers with Frankie & Annette on Hulaballo, 1965.

I understand what you mean Roy.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
