Roy: As a six-year-old American, I didn't have a chance to buy that single when it was first released. As I understand it, the first UK pressings went out with a sleeve that was considered outrageous at the time. I believe it was either withdrawn immediately or distribution was halted by a court order.
Randy with regard to sleeve you may be thinking of a postcard that was issued to promote Flowers In the Rain which did show scene you mention, Harold Wilson British PM at the time sued and Band lost all royalties going to a trust fund of PM's choice. Band later claimed not their idea but their manager's.
