(New) 620 Jack question
Regarding the 2 jacks on the 620, When I plug in the cable onthe Rick-o-sound connection there is a definite secure click, when plugged into the normal jack it feels like I do not here that solid feel like it's in securely. No solid, secure click.

The two jacks are of different construction, hence the difference in sound.
BE SURE that your cord has American-made (Switchcraft) ends. Chinese-made plugs are all over the place in tolerances and many just plain do not work.
A number of premium cord makers use Chinese plugs, too, so beware.

Fear Factor task: unscrew the jackplate, carefully pull out the assembly (jacks and wiring) and plug the cable in to see whether the tang on the jack contact fits into the notch in the plug. According to your description, it won't match up.
