Here's the link that I found to the HOB Tickets, which go on sale on Tuesday, 08/01.

Thanks R.C., you beat me to it. I saw it last night, but couldn't post since the site was in MX mode.

Two questions:

(1) Does anybody know why the HOB site says the tickets are $50 - 100, when the RIC site says they are $50 - 75?

(2) The HOB site doesn't mention anything about being able to upgrade to Gold Circle at no extra charge if you attended the Saturday show. What do we need to know about all this when we call Ticketmaster on Tuesday morning?

If anyone finds out exactly what time the tickets go on sale would you please let us know?

I'm buying tickets for Howard and I from half way round the world.

If they go on sale at 9.00am Tuesday morning in LA that's 2.00am Wednesday morning Aussie time...and I need my beauty sleep! However, I need HOB tickets more!

Darren,

I'm sure others may know off the top of their head, but I'll try to find out and let you know. Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Darren,

Of course the other option is to have someone here buy tickets for you and just pay them back when you get here, but that's a lot of trust (not for the buyer, for you!).

Dammit! Now I really have to figure out a way to go to that shindig!
The Moon Maidens are great.
Sounds like a great show.

Geez, working with HOB sure is . . . difficult. No sooner than I get them to add Squire to the listing (they forgot him) than they screw up the ticket price! And on a weekend when no one seems to be around.

The HOB site and Ticketmaster won't be saying anything about the Gold admission upgrade, as that's really not part of their program. However, all of the ticket-takers at HOB will accept the Museum ticket stub along with an HOB general admission ticket for Gold entrance.

Regarding international ticket sales, www.ticketmaster.com doesn't care where you are, as I understand it. But I have heard their service fee is more than HOB's ticket office.

More than likely I won't be making it, is there a chance this will be recorded? Either video or audio?
I would love a recording of the Marty Willson-Piper and the Moon Maidens act.

John,
Thanks very much for the update. Most of the other HOB concert ticket sales begin at 10:00am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Should we assume the same for this special event?

No clue at all. I'll just be satisfied if they get the CORRECT information up with the CORRECT prices sometime soon.

If you're worried about missing tickets, note that there won't be any print ads running until the end of the week, so someone would have to find it on the web; that probably improves the odds greatly for this week anyway.
