Holding down the forum

Chris (Loendmaestro) posted a now somewhat old thread called "those left behind."

This one, too, is for the rest of us who're unable to attend the 75th, a place to congregate (when we're not checking out the news from So. Cal?)

But we'll be there in spirit, eh?

I was hoping for an 11th hour reprieve that would allow me to go at the last minute. It is almost 11:59 with no reprieve in sight. I will be here on the side lines with the rest of "those left behind." Image

Me too, Ken. I was hoping for some news from my work that would allow me to make it, but that news didn't come yet and it's past my deadline. I was hoping for a webcam set up at the site or something, but I decided to take my daughter up to see her Grandma next weekend so I wouldn't feel so bad.

I've got the video camera up and ready for as much as I can! The concerts are out, but I don't know if there are any rules against it in the confluence part....I'll have the video's uploaded onto Youtube.

I'll be stuck in the cornfields watching as well. A good time should be had by all.

I'm bringing cameras as well. Plenty of coverage for all you.

I wonder if the hotel meeting room's has wireless access? If so, could put a notebook in there for minute to minute updates.

I don't know about the wireless access but it's likely.

There's no problem with audio or video recording at the Museum event; Paul Kantner actually encourages it. While we're not bound by his rider for this event, it usually specifies a line-of-sight area reserved for video.

Even the HOB permits consumer grade video cameras but forget audio recording.

I'll be checking in once in a while as I'll only have limited access to wireless where I'll be (moving our store to the other side of town)

Have fun everyone!
