For those who haven't been to Los Angeles or haven't been there in ages.

Need some R&R before the House Of Blues event?

Grab something to eat & drink at the Farmers Market at the corner of 3rd Street & Fairfax Ave. LA, CA 90036

Lot's of shops & food from all over the world, two open air bars, one (326) with nothing but domestic beers, with lots of micro's and one (EB's) with nothing but foreign beers.
My favorite beer Hopf Helle Weisse.

From the Farmers Market it is a 5-10 minute drive to the HOB. Taxis are readily available at the Farmers Market.

Next door to the Farmers Market is The Grove & CBS Television City.

www.farmersmarketla.com since 1934.

I think I wanna see one in person. Then again, with only 75 per model, do I even have that kind of time?!

Must...order...now...

Jeff and Brian,

What were you guys hoping for? I think they are very striking instruments. Nicer than the 60th Anniversary Fender's IMO.

To be honest it is pretty much what I expected....a special color and pickguard. That doesn't mean that I wasn't hoping for more. Only one bass choice is a bummer and it would have been nice to see quilted or flamed maple and/or checkerboard binding and maybe a horseshoe p/u. (I'm a 4004 convert anyway so I would be hard to please with just about any 4003 variation).

I do think the color looks great. I'm not a fan of the gold guard/TRC and chrome hardware combo. It seems that most think it looks great so I'm sure all will sell quickly. It would be worth buying as an investment though (but I'll pass).

It could have every option that everyone has mentioned here, horseshoes, checkers, etc. etc. all dressed up and pretty and those same people will then complain that we aren't selling them for $1000.00..There's always gonna be SOMETHING...
