Toronto mini-confluence
Moderators: rickenbrother, ajish4
Just a reminder of the TO mini-confluence taking place on Tuesday Sept. 12 at Coll Audio in Toronto. Things should start around 7pm. Craig Collett, owner of Coll Audio will be our host, and I'd like to request that attendees chip in $10 each to cover the cost of the venue. Craig has a fine selection of vintage amps so don't worry about bringing your own. Guitar stands may be useful. Craig also says he has a fridge available for "consumables". A jam room will be set up and fine local drummer Anton Cook will be attendence (I hope). No word on whether Geddy will be dropping by...
Address and a map can be found on their web site at www.collaudio.com . Any Rickenbacker enthusiasts are welcome to attend, but it would be useful to know the numbers beforehand. So far I've seen interest from the following folks:
Dean Steglia
Howard "Aitch" Bishop
Richard Horbatiuk
Mick Kern
Bill Hughley
Greg Howley
David Love
Jon Casselman
If there's anyone else who would like to attend, please post here or e-mail me at [email protected] .
Hope to see you there!

I have an 8:30 game next week. Will you guys be going past 10? That's probably the earliest I can get there. Also, would it be okay if I didn't bring my guitar? I don't want to leave it in the car at the arena.

Howard and I are definitely there. He is bringing his MB 350V63, I am bringing a FG 350V63 and FG 660/12. And cameras.
Thanks for all the groundwork on this Steve. I assume you'll also be on the list.
See you all on Tuesday next.

Steve, I can drive in from Brantford, so please add me to the list of attendees. Personally, I add nothing, but my 1991 red 360 might add a bit of glo...so I'll bring him too.

Thanks to Steve for getting this all together, thanks to Coll Audio for letting us play through such beautiful equipment, and thanks to everyone for bringing out your guitars. I'm hurting a little this morning.
A couple of notes: that Lemmy bass is freaking gorgeous and photos do not do Montezuma Brown justice.

Thanks for coming out Greg - I know what you mean as I'm working on about 4 hours sleep! Thanks to everyone who came out - I think a good time was had by all. Craig was a terrific host who saved the day when we found out the beer store was closed! I'll get around to posting pics a little later today.
Many thanks to Craig and Steve for a fabulous evening! I don't know if there have ever been that many Rics in one room in Canada. It was a real treat to meet everyone, Steve C, Phil, Mick, Greg, Richard, Steve W., Craig, Howard. and my thanks to Dave Love for demoing his amps and pedals, and treating us to some Beatles lessons. The jam was lots of fun.
Will post pics when I get them off the camera.
