Hi all - I had an early morning and just got in - it was a pleasure meeting all - thanks again for the evening and the photographs. And thanks to Craig for hosting.
Oh yeah - the Aussie guy with the beer is Howard Bishop. Apparently he is travelling the globe visiting Rickenbacker enthusiasts that he has met through this forum and has made it half way - plays a pretty cool guitar too. He says his wife was expecting him home a couple of weeks ago - but he decided to just keep on going!
If Dave sees this post could you please provide the name again of the luthier in Hamilton that you recommended?

Hey,
Just got back to Brantford. I hung the 360 back up on my wall beside the black Les Paul, but oddly the Ric seemed to hang with on an angle away from Les Paul...something it never did, but it did spend time with family last night. I must thank Craig and Steve for the great accomodation and organization. I went to bed last night and had dreams of big Rickenbackers eating me up. I must say that Rickenbackers aside, this is a great bunch of people. I will forward my pics to Craig as soon as I can and he can post. Melissa, we were commenting on the variety of beautiful colours at this meet and how we expect your usual complimentary post.
Oh and Steve, I do have lots of pics of my red 360...stand by.

Wow! Step out to the tower and 12th fret and miss everything!! Greg, we were there at the 12th Fret at noon. I picked up a Diamond compressor and a Peterson tuner. He had the Marshall on the floor, near a Matchless. Nice shop and Mike is great to talk to. Howard made it into the clouds this afternoon.
Steve, here's Steve C.'s ruby:
Great shots of the evening. I think I have many of the same!!
Now off to dinner and the continuing beer. Someone has to carry the flag.

Never, ever drool on your surf shirt. It wrecks the solo.

Great shots and it looks like a great time! These confluences are turning out to always be a splendid time. Hey, more pics, and please identify the people so we all can know who is who.
Peter - any more thought to enabling Avatars and have us submit head shots of us so we can have our pics by our names? Paul Boyer's idea!

Bingo Greg. But what I also loved about it, Steve, was it's subtlety. No percussive flat pick noise even with the compression up full. Tons of jangle and sustain without the initial pick click. It was the A/B session with the Keely that really nailed it for me. The 660 just jangled and rang forever. The '65 AC30 helped just a bit too.
I just arrived home in Montreal (long, ****** wet drive...)and have not had a chance to put it into my rig yet. More to come. Mike gave me a deal as well.
Thanks to Dave Love for providing a great A/B opportunity (Dave is a great guitar player and great voice!). And appologies to Craig for leaving a two day sustain in the shop.

Gee, thanks Mick. I think it was the beer.
Actually, the Beatles jam Dave led us through showed off a few talents. Rich H. is a pretty slick bassist, as is Steve W. of course. And Steve was also doing his impression of Darren Trott on the skins! Howard got a few good licks in on his MB as well. And Phil led us through some CCR with his 360/12C64
Nice 381 by the way. My first Jetglo, and it was a beauty.
Craig mentioned to me that he thought we were the nicest group of wierdos, nicer than, but not quite as strange as the group of mellotron guys he hosted recently.
I guess that's good...
For a guy who thought he would get sick of the Byrds and Beatles quickly, he sure was doing most of the bopping during the jams. Really great guy. He fit in quite well.
