Hi Rich, sorry I missed your call later on when you were getting your Freak-on at the Beac-on. The pub was a bit loud and I didn't feel the phone vibrate either. Actually sorry we missed it, but you have to blame that squarely on the pints. We parked the car late afternoon and did the down town pub crawl. No way I was going near the garage or the keys.
It was great to meet up with you and I will definitely try to arrange to get Freakin at the Beacon. Might not be until the spring, but you never know.
This is (left to right) Richard, Keiths, Howard, Keiths and myself and Keiths at a pre-confluence dinner:
What cannot be seen here is the lovely lass in a kilt that took this picture. Much easier on the eyes than these three guys...

Sorry for the fuzzy quality folks. Seems I haven't quite figured out this camera yet. Anyway:
L to R: Dave Love, Craig (our elegant host), Steve Comeau, Aitch, Steve Wood.
L to R: Steve Comeau, Phil Howes, Aitch, Steve Wood, Richard Horbatiuk
L to R: Aitch, Steve Wood, Richard Horbatiuk and Mick Kern
Greg arrived a little later and I didn't get him in these, but he is up in Steve W.'s post.
Great bunch. I look forward to the next one.

It certainly was a pleasure meeting all of the Toronto forum members! And I thought I was the only Rick owner with OCD!
It was good to share tech information and tricks and tips!
Just for reference purposes, the Diamond Compressor and the Keely compressor are both available at The 12th Fret (www.12fret.com)in Toronto - tell Mike McAvan that Dave Love sent you!
Dean: were you asking about techs in the Toronto area who are Rick-savvy? Brian Mascarin in Toronto is very well versed in adjusting and repairing Ricks. He installed and set-up my 12 saddle bridge. His number is (416)787-1531. I recommend him highly. The other name I would recommend is Mike Spicer at The Peghead in Hamilton. Mike has re-fretted my 360/12 twice and is an expert luthier and repair technician.
He can be reached at (905)972-9400.
Has anybody seen the November edition of Vintage Guitar magazine?
It's Tom Petty with a gorgeous pre-1964 360FG!

Thanks David, I met Mike the next day. Great guy and very savvy.
Also, thanks for the tech references. There are none here that I know of in Montreal, so TO is closest.
The Diamond works very well with my Valvetronix AD120VTH rig. I was concerned about digital clipping in the processor/input section of the amp, but they were unfounded. All the edge and jangle were there in spades with no unpleasant distortion. Exactly what I was looking for.

Hey guys, sorry I'm such a latecomer to this thread--I had a gig last night with my friend Billy D., and so have been away from the computer for a few days so we could "get our act together!" ....And since I've been too busy to "work" for the last few days, my husband forbade me to go on the internet today until I got a few projects done for him, LOL! (Ummmm, he knows I'm gonna be too busy to work again in a few days when we will be entertaining a very special visitor from Australia....)
Looks like you all had a great time.... Love those gorgeous sea green Rics (actually, I love 'em all!), but the 660 is especially stunning, with the checkered binding and gold guards....
So Dean, did "Jammin' in the Can" get its debut public performance?

Not this time Melissa. The mission failed in that time frame. Too much to do this summer. I am still working on it though.
Steve's Sea Green display was gorgeous. His 381 is pretty amazing too.
There were many comments about Howard's MB 350 as well. These are colors that do not translate as well through digital photography. They are quite stunning live. I suspect Purpleburst is much the same.

Aaahhhh well, we're in the same boat then, Dean.... I had hoped to have my "Mister Curmudgeon" version of "Jammin'" done for the California Confluence, but the summer's been far too busy for me to work on that as well.... Maybe Aitch and I can work up something fun while he's visiting, though I'm sure it won't be as professional as the song he and Brian did together!
BTW, I've seen Aitch's Monty 350 and his 330 as well, and they are both stunning. Can't wait to see the 350 again!

Melissa,
Can you tell Aitch when he arrives, that I have re-mixed and re-mastered "Nothing Ain't Real". We did a very hurried job all the way round on that number and I now have it up to my more exacting standards. He will fill you in on what that remark means I am sure. LOL.

Melissa,
I have not heard from my fellow collaborator in a number of days. Hopefully he will come out of hiding soon.

You're right about that, Dean!! Not an easy thing when you're not carrying a computer around with you.
I'm still vertical, Brian.... staying with Jeff Scott in Cleveland at present and looking forward to catching u[ with Melibee and crew in a couple of days.
I got stuck at Dulles airport last Friday for 14 hours.... finally arrived at Laguardia at 1:30am.... sheesh!!!
