Pickguardian PG for 4003 doesn't fit my '87
I just got a Pickguardian pickguard for my '87 4003. It is not really even close in size. Maybe it's for a 4001? The area around the knobs is much wider than my standard PG, and the knob & screw holes are not really even close to lining up (knobs are up to 1/4" different).
It said it would fit 80's & up on their site. I tried printing the template but can't get it to print in actual size (I am not selecting fit to page but it's doing that anyways).
I suppose others here have bought the PGs from Pickguardian? Any idea if mine sounds like it might be for a 4001?
I just traded my white TRC for a black one (got it today, thanks Cole!), and got the black PG so I could black out my JetGlo 4003. Hope I can get it to work!
Thanks

I have always read great things about Pickguardian, so I have total faith that Tony will work it out with me. I was just looking for experiences here. I read with the pickup surrounds that there were different templates for different 4003s, but not for the pick guards.
I was hoping that somebody might easily be able to know if I may have gotten a 4001 PG by mistake.
Here is a picture of my stock PG (the white one) overlaying the one I just got (the black one).

No worries. I have talked to Tony and am sending both guards back to him. I wouldn't mind the knob holes being different, but it pushes the electronics against the body cavity so I cannot get the screw holes to line up.
Looking forward to an all-black & chrome 4003 (except the fret board)!
Thanks
