Glad you took it, John. I knew you just had to have it.
I picked up the C63 yesterday. I am now on "The Dark Side Of The Rics".

They say good things come to wait. But I found out today that better things come quicker to those who cut in line!

Yep, I got the Anni 330!

Wait time, from down payment to pickup: 22 hours. Image

Oh, it looks awesome - my favorite instrument in the DCM finish so far (Haven't seen a 660). Such a difficult finish to appreciate over the internet. It needs to be set down, under light, so you can walk around it and catch the glimpses of red from each angle. It would look VERY cool on a lit stage (Who am I kidding, they'll all be case queens).

A guy walked into the store and said, "Whoa, is that Burgundy?" Which I found odd, because even when I first saw the bass at the RIC factory, I had trouble seeing the red - he caught it right away.

Don, thanks for passing it up! It's a beauty and I couldn't be happier.

Paul, the TRC and pickguards look awesome.

Warranty card says September '06. What gives?

I thought it was said in another thread that Rickenbacker was going to do the entire run of 360s first.

Anyone else remember that or was I dreaming?

Don, seeing as how my warranty card is dated two months ago, maybe this was a one-off that they decided to ship out now?

Hey, why has no one mentioned the cool 75th logo case or the special certificate yet? Is it supposed to be a big surprise?

Don, the factory must be flexible in their production scheduling. Originally, all 360s were due to go out at once. But plans were changed, and the 330s were finished all at once instead.

John, yours couldn't be a prototype or one-off, as all the special guards and TRCs for this were just sent to RIC two weeks ago!
