I purposely submitted different sounding songs. I have lots that have the byrd-time jangle.

Of course, we could have a CD that is completely jangle and have a "jangle-off" and see who can approximate the closest sound to jangle nirvana. But that would likely cause more work for the kind souls who are already overburdened...

Is "porpoisely" a word, Doc? As in "the dolphin swam porpoisely behind the sharks". ImageImage

Glad to read that others feel the same. I just use my Ric's for everything, and never even think about the "Ric sound"! Especially my Ric basses, I play all kinds of music on them. I can['t wait to hear what others are doing with theirs. Point being, that Ricks are great instruments, ones that I would love to see used more in mainstream music, although the wait to get one could get longer!

'Needle & prod' all you like Steve.....Image

It's start is imminent....a couple of things I need to sort out first. Incidently, within the last two weeks, I have obtained a TF Pro P38 mastering compressor & a P9 EQ. The best in the business & will come in VERY handy for this project.

Cool, I hope to hear one of my "pop masterpieces" re-mastered through your magic watchamajiggit.

So, anything new to report on your progress ? Image

....And Tony, I hope you can salvage mine, LOL! Mine needs a lot of help, but I'm still learning how to use my recording unit. I hope it's redeemable, because I feel the content of the song is good, even if my use of the technology is somewhat impaired by my lack of experience and expertise....
