Not yet, John. But I guess for all intents and purposes it is, given that it's been delivered to the initial US destination.

It's in the UPS Louisville depot at present. Probably still a week away - another 2 days to Oz and then the usual customs rigmarole.

H,
2-3 days to get to Oz, then another week just to get it across the street...how's that for government efficiency?
And stop obsessing over the UPS website...watched pots you know...

Well, John... it's got to get to Sydney first, then Melbourne, then through customs, then to UPS in Moonee Ponds, then ultimately, ME!!

The wheels turn slowly....

OK... the UPS site is now blocked!! Image

I watched my V64 and my 4003 crisscross across the USA (say that fast)and then into Canada. That was half the fun. So go ahead and watch Aitch. I would.

I was kidding of course...pretty hypocritical to tell someone else to avoid one of my own favorite pastimes.

I'm hoping to get the call soon. It seems strange that they are all coming. I'm still getting used to the 360 being here so quickly and now the 330 may be here quicker than I know.

Aitch: Like me, i'm sure you're going to be playing this guitar a lot when it arrives. Once it's covered in fingerprints, break out the Zymol - the color will pop out beautifully!

I really need a sunny day to take some pics!

According to UPS, "quarantine has been requested by a government agency". Sheesh!! If they put one mark on that baby, I'll............

I know I'm a bit of an animal, but quarantine for a guitar? What the..........??

Any news from other forumites expecting 75th instruments?

QUARANTINE????

Perhaps the Australian government is becoming concerned about the spread of that incurable contagion known as RAS, which is spread through Rickenbacker guitars.... It seems that certain Aussies who have recently had contact with Rics and their owners here in the US have returned to their country infected with the "sickness," as evidenced by the rash of Rics following them back into the country.... Image

Hope your new Rickenbeauty isn't detained at Customs for too long, Aitch! Maybe they just want to play it for a while....

I think they are seeing too many packages being delivered to "Aitch..... Australia". Revised delivery date is November 28th. Somehow I don't think so............ Image

Aitch,
Wow...I'm sorry. Having it be so close and sitting there is worse than waiting for a call from your dealer.
