Misfits who have strength of personality create their own reality and through sheer genius and force of will, can show us a new way. By our acceptance, we fit them, on their terms.
Occasionally they clash with society, as in the "stay out of my bathroom/pickup truck chase" incident which sent him to prison while he was in his 50s.
An amazing and unique force in Soul.
He had amazing hair, too.
