I will remember 2006 as an exceptionally good year. The highlight was the RIC 75th and meeting so many tremendous people in Santa Ana. John Williams and Dave Pascoe welcomed me into their homes and gave me a taste of life on their part of the planet. Graham Griffiths showed me how to act like a teenager again. Paul W honoured me with the front cover of the inaugural Forum calendar. I made so many connections with so many people - Alisha, John Biscuti, J Dog, Alison, Kenny, Joey V, Dr Bob, John Koelling, Scott Jehlik, RC...the list continues to grow

“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”
