When the 3 tone burst is available in the U.S., I don't know how I am going to pass it up. When I tried one (black finish) I thought it sounded great and it does have a great neck.

Exactly, Geoffrey - the only thing bugging me about them is the rather lame color options. If 3TS and/or White doesn't hit at NAMM, i'll go the Ishibashi route.

I can't wait until NAMM. And even then, who's to say Fender's going to make these two newer finishes available then. Plus I bought mine cheaper from Ishibashi then when I bought my Hot Rod Red Jaguar here. And that includes the shipping factored in.

I some what agree with John's comment about the lame colours available now, but I think the matching headstock on the HHR finishes the bass off nicely. Black finish on a bass does nothing for me, even on a RIC.

According to folks on the FDP, Ishibashi is no longer exporting instruments.

I guess you have some funds freed up now for that 4003FLV!

Hah! Not quite - In the past week i've put a 5002 mandolin and a 330DCM on order, that's where the funds are going.

I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that the better colors become available here.

Ishibashi shipped my two new Jaguar basses out yesterday via EMS. They will be here by the end of the week.

Don't believe everything you read boys!

Yeah, I've been corresponding with Ishibashi and as of last night they wanted my zip code to determine the shipping cost. Seems like they'll do business with me. I'll update when I know for sure.

Overpriced at this point, I am bowing out.

$5 says they introduce a 5er at winter NAMM.

Now THAT I'd want to try, although I've been underwhelmed with the B string on F"nd*r 5ers.

Jon, it seems you've wasted no time making a nice little Jaguar bass collection.

Thanks.

That looks like a stock P-bass bridge cover, Jim.

Jon, I still haven't heard back from Ishibashi regarding the VWH Jag bass! Thanks for the help again. BTW, that pic is just awesome. I think i'm going to really like the bass, when i finally land one.
