4003 push/pull feature
I giged with my new 4003AFG last night and must say that the push/pull...vintage/modern feature for live playing is deceptive. At home experimenting alone with tones, it does sound distinct, but for live louder applications, the modern, higher output setting is the most desired. Playing live doesn't really distinguish this feature. Anyone else have this opinion? For looks and feel, the AFG is SOOOOOOOOO vintage looking and the fireglo is aged. It is really spectacular with the headstock wings, and yellowed binding. I will put vintage knobs on and have changed the neck pu to a toaster, it looks like an early 70's 4001...... Very nice indeed!
Rick bass fanatic. I own and play several professionally. I have a passion for the S models.

You can buy the push pull kit from that site. It's only $15.
