What's the status Tony ? Please stand up and tell the group about your latest progress. Also, feel free to tell the class what you did last summer Image.

Oh, it's OK, I am chilled, and Tony doesn't mind. I told him last week that I was going to start acting like a project manager at work, and needling him about his progress. He likes the attention.

It's OK, I don't mind Steves 'management'!

Time to get things moving. I still have my cold, but I'm feeling better. Still deaf as a post, but there are other things that I can get on with. Artwork for instance....I am going to contact Scott about this, as there is a possibility of printing & layout help. Untill I know what's available printing wise, I don't know how much room we'll have for track details, but a front cover & tray card need to be sorted.

Any ideas.........

I like the idea of an anonymous "Ric in action" cover photo - a musically suggestive photo of a Ric, done in proper lighting. For the back tray, a collage of artist photos (up to 20 artists, I assume). For the liner notes, put those on the inner sleeve, with limited details.

Hi everyone. I am so sorry that this is taking me so long & it WILL be done soon.

Without giving my life story, as many of you know, I have been a pro musician now for most of my life, with my painting taking very much a back seat. However, the music industry has changed, not to my liking & I have taken steps to reverse my living...art first & music second. I have once again been approached by a major fine art publisher & all though nothing is imminent, it did get me to thinking about my future. The Carnivores are doing fantastically well, but not enough to keep me & although I will remain totaly commited to the band, I have all ready dropped other areas of music which I was not happy with, to free up time.

As a result, I have been under the cosh to get some paintings out! I had paintings to finish for clients & recent commitments to a gallery for a window display & then an exhibition, as well as press releases, literature etc, etc....basicaly, all the things you do when starting a new business. I am working very hard & long hours at the moment.

What I'm trying to say is please bear with me. This project will be completed very soon & I am as commited to Rickenbacker & this forum as I have ever been, but I just need a little more time.....

Take you time - Don't short either project, do a good job on both. The art priority is quite understandable. Have you got a web site where we might see some of your creations? Thanks for the status.

Best of "British" Tony. I wish you all the success in the world. We'll wait for the CD project. Us Rickenbacker fans are used to waiting for good things to arrive.

Nice painting Aitch er Tony. Oh, you know what I mean.
