HOW DO YOU SPELL "Rickenbacker"?

I just checked out Dave's web site ( www.guitargonauts.com ) and you'll see his Rickenbackers under "Pick of the Month". It looks like he used a 1993 12-string and a 1996 for the Dukes recordings.
In my part of the country, it's easier to call it a Ricken ! I guess it's fitting more the french way of speaking. And if I'm writing here, well I use Ric or Rick... But then the latter reminds me too much of my brother in law!!!
