Nearly $10000 USD to get it here? Even I would say that is overpriced, considering the issues it has with the body wings splitting off
I have been known to pay well very recently for an interesting bass, but neither the 9.9 out of 10 Jan 1970 German 21-fretter nor the 9 out of 10 genuine-1963 exceeded $7500 delivered, and the German 1968 4001 (8 out of 10 because it needed replacement tuners, PG, and shoes) did not exceed $5400 delivered.
So, $!0,000 for only a 1969 bass with structural issues that none of the others had is a bit much even in today's market....

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
