I'm interested in what kind of case came with everyone's shadow? I'm not sure what I'm getting with mine.

My Shadow's factory case has a dark blue lining, standard for that period of time.

Mine came with the (typical of '80s?) original black tolex RIC case with white piping trims. The interior is contoured to the body shape, and has a lid covered accessories compartment. No RIC logo on the outside.

I just bought a Shadow bass on Ebay and I can't believe how great it plays and sounds. I am somewhat speechless because it reminds me of being a kid and playing a Ric bass for the first time. I've played some great Ric basses but I think this is the nicest. I can't look at it without plugging it in.
