on a fireglo you should have white ... if you want something other than white then try pearloid ...

I would do it.....I did it on my Autumnglo......I would do it just to do it.....

No no no. No.

You know what might look good on a AFG, if you want something a bit different? Pickguardian offers a solid clear guard with painted back - like the guard on the Chris Squire signature model - I'd try one with cream-painted back, to match the aged binding on the AFG. Should look elegant, not very Fender-like, and will not clash with the TRC.

i had a tort 'guard on my walnutglo 4002,and thought it looked pretty good-wanted to try a clear gold-back-painted guard on it,but never got around to it.

Thanks for the input guys but being the flake that I am, I changed my mind and decided not to buy the AFG. I still have my JG on order.

Anybody looking for a very nice 4003 AFG?
