Used to own a jetglo 4003 and this 97 white/BT. I don't currently own any 4003's, the 4004 does everything I need.

John B,
GREAT THREAD MAN!

John A,
"4003S MGBT"....WOW... I LIKE THAT ONE!
Nice! VERY, VERY NICE! Image

The 4003 DCM no longer resides in that black case. She now lives in a brand new vintage case. As a matter of fact, ALL my RICS live in vintage cases! It's an illness I have! Image

Tony - thanks! Has a great slim neck. And it has 11k neck and 13k bridge pups that put out more than a high school sweetie. Oh, and nothing to feel bad about only two - DCM and a Monty!

You're killing me John, you're KILLING ME!!

"that put out more than a high school sweetie".

I've NEVER heard that line before, I LOVE IT! LOL!

I HATE to say this, but IF EVER, EVER you feel the need or desire to......I don't even have to finish, YOU know what I'm saying... I REALLY LIKE THAT BASS!

I LOVE the "S" basses.

Thanks John,

I do have a 4003FL AFG on order, if that counts. Image

That's a very tasty 4003 collection you have there, Scott. Image

Thanks Darren. Image Im afraid they dont hold a candle to your flock though!

I am considering a Jetglo Larado just to see what the tonal difference is, (if any), compared to the CII.

I do like the "streamlined" look of the 4004's, now if I could just get along with the sound......Ooops! this is a 4003 thread! Forgive me,,just rambling...Image

Scott - a very beautiful 4003 arsenal. Lovely colors - I really like the way you highlighted the BB with the background darkened. Nice.

Thats actually natural light coming in the west window of my family room John, I came in from outdoors one afternoon and saw the effect and snapped the pic. Perfect timing / season. I've never been able to do it again. All I can tell you is that is was 2:55 in the afternoon. Image

Tony,, yep,, the covers have to go! I keep them safe though, but they're right in my sweet spot.

Scott, beautiful collection you have there. I started out three years ago wanting to have a "color" collection but unfortunately this little thing called the 4004 came along and sent me in another direction. I don't have deep pockets like some of the people on this forum so I'll just have to settle for checkers and 4004's. You definitely should try the Laredo, you wouldn't have any trouble selling if it didn't work out. And there is enough difference from the Cii that it could hold your interest. I definitely love mine and can't wait to get a black one in the future.
